The PEJ's research projects aim at greater scope than those of scientific initiation, and accordingly they involve better-qualified personnel pursuing graduate courses or finished with them. Research projects are longer but obey the general propositions of the group, i.e. the study of the intersections between historiography, religion and millenarism in the Hellenistic-Roman Mediterranean.
