The "II Seminário Interno do Projeto de Estudos Judaico-Helenísticos - PEJ" (part of undergraduate and graduate programmes of the History Department of the UnB) will deal this year with the mutual relations between Zoroastrianism and apocalyptic.
The first edition of the event last year yielded exceptional results for undergraduates and graduates alike; besides the academic knowledge acquired, many invitations for graduate studies abroad took shape. Besides, the locals lack almost everything in terms of information regarding the subject (i.e. the interaction between Zoroastrianism and Second Temple Judaism as constituents of apocalyptic literature proper) and the huge interest showed by the public last year promise an even better venue for 2007.
